THE DATES FOR THE 2021 MEETING IN SONOMA WILL BE JANUARY 11 - 13!​​

Please read the below information regarding the upcoming meeting in Sonoma, California.

1.)  Flights - If you have not booked your flight we urge you to do so now.  We recommend that you fly into either the San Francisco International Airport or into Oakland.  Other options would include Sacramento or Santa Rosa.  You can check the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa web site regarding directions from these airports.

2.)  Ground Transportation - We highly recommend that you rent a car for your stay while in Sonoma, California.  There are many things to do and see in this most beautiful area, particularly visiting the vineyards, and a car is the esasiest way to get around.  If you do not rent a car then you will need to book some form of transportation from your arriving airport to Sonoma, California.  We suggest that you call the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa for details.

3.)  The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa - Hopefully by now you have booked your room at the hotel.  We do not require our participants to use the Fairmont but most do.  If you have not booked your room then please do so now.  We cannot quarantee availability or the conference price after December 10th.  Call the Fairmont at 1-800-862-4945 or direct to the hotel at 1-707-938-9000.  Call before 7:00 pm as you will need to speak directly with the hotel representative.  Be sure to mention C & H EDUCATIONAL SYSTEMS when booking your room.  You can also book your room directly from our web site.  Just click on the "Hotels" tab.

4.)  Spa Treatments - For Spa Treatment options please go to the Fairmont web site and look up the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa at www.fairmont.com, or call the hotel direct at 1-707-938-9000.  Booking treatments in advance, at least two weeks prior to your arrival, is something that we highly recommend.  If you are going to get more than one treatment we do suggest that you get them on different days of your stay.

5.)  The Meeting - The meeting will begin at 6:30 am with a continental breakfast.  The lectures will begin at 7:00 am and last until 1:00 pm or 2:00 pm.  We have been told that the meeting room is the Kenwood Room.  If there are any changes we will notify you or you can check at the front desk.

6.) Continental Breakfast - This will consist of coffee, decaf, hot tea, rolls, butter, jam/jelly, yogurt, and some fruit.  If you want a full breakfast there is a restaurant in the hotel or the one on the corner from the hotel.  Or you can have something delivered to your room.  Lunch and dinner will be on your own.  There are many great restaurants to choose from in Sonoma and the surrounding area.  We do recommend that you get a dining guide from the Sonoma Tourist Office on the main square in downtown Sonoma.  Or you can check out Trip Advisor!


7.)  Tourist Information - You can contact the Sonoma Valley Visitors Bureau directly at 1-707-996-1090, or their email at [email protected], or their web site at www.sonomavalley.com  Once you arrive in Sonoma you can go to the Tourist Office on the main square.

8.)  Directions - You can Google Map this or look at the Fairmont web site under the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa "directions" tab.

9.)  Special Event -  The event will be on the Monday evening of the meeting from approximately 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm.  This will be a wine and cheese reception and will probably be held in the same room as the meeting or the front "Garden Room."  All participants are invited to attend as well as bring one guest free of charge. More than one guest will require an additional payment of $40.00 to be paid on site and in cash.

10.) CE Credits and the Certificate - You will receive 20 Class A CE Credits if you participate in the full meeting (or 7 credits per day, except Wednesday, which is 6 credits).  All credits will be submitted to the AANA immediately after the last meeting day - Wednesday.  It usually takes the AANA about one month before the credits are posted to your account. You will receive a certificate of attendance at the meeting on the last day prior to your departure.  The meeting is prior approved by the AANA for 20 Class A CE Credits:  AANA Code Number 1037510, Expiration Date 1/15/20, and 3.00 credits in pharmacology/therapeutics.

11.) Verification Form and Final Payment Form - A verification form will be sent to you at some time after you have applied.  Once your receive this form please review it for accuracy.  If there are any errors please inform us immediately.  You will also receive a Final Payment Form.  If you owe any balance it will be indicated on this form.  If not, then this is your receipt for the meeting.

13.) C & H Cancellation Policy - There will be a $50.00 cancellation fee for any cancellation made after payment is received and deposited.  Anyone who cancels prior to the meeting will receive a full refund minus the $50.00 fee.  You will have to contact us by phone or email before midnight the day before (Sunday) the meeting starts (Monday).  After the meeting begins there will be no refunds and no refunds for a no-show at the meeting.

14.)  Other Meetings - Remember, we sponsor other meetings.  Our biggest and best meeting is in New Orleans, Louisiana during the French Quarter Festival (always the month of April) at the Monteleone Hotel in the French Quarter.   Contact us to get your name on the mailing list for these meetings.  Click on our "Contact Us" tab and fill out the form and check off the meetings which interest you.

15.)  Cancellation Policy of the Fairmont - We have been advised that their policy states:  "Any cancellation within 5 days prior to arrival will forfeit full room and tax.  Any no-shows, early departures, or other reductions to length of stay from 5 days prior to arrival will also forfeit full room and tax."  We advise you to ask the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa what their policy is regarding a cancellation when you book your room.
